Nice read, big dog.

I think the general feeling around Andersen this morning is as much about his NHL-calibre goaltending last night as it is the fact that most of us lived through our best days as a Leafs fan when Wendel and Dougie were playing and Quinn was running the show. The grit grinder philosophy that so many of us took a shining to was well on display when Freddy had his face sliced open and went back at it like a Danish viking.

At least that's what did it for me. I'm flip-flopping back on the Anderwagon

How many times have we scored less than 3 goals in a game this year? Once?

Far cry from the offense-challenged team of last season

We are starting to see guys remember how to put the puck in the net (Bozak/JVR for example). Realizing that taking and/or converting impossible passes from Marner is much, much different than trying to feed PA Parenteau

Oh yeah I think Habs are gonna torch us.

It kills me to say it, but I think they are the best team in the league right now (haven't checked the standings, JMO)

But lets be honest....his last past....which was great....was just a blind pass towards the net.
He got lucky.
Which is alright

I want to think that, but he has a knack for making those "blind passes" hit the tape of his linemates. That's not the first time that happened

Yup. No shame in some luck. You get that luck when you work hard and make alot of plays. He claimed he saw Bozak and JVR going to net so he wanted to get it there. So not just luck in some way.. Good hockry sense and hands too.
Someone said last night, you have to be good to get lucky sometimes . So true
